This time of year, it starts to happen.
The weather gets a little better.
You’re outside more.
You see people doing more.
And somewhere along the way…
you start thinking about it.
“I should probably get back into something.”
“Do a little more.”
“Get into a better routine.”
And once that thought shows up…
It doesn’t just sit there.
You start noticing things.
What other people are doing.
What you’re hearing.
What keeps showing up in front of you.
A conversation.
Something you read.
Something that catches your attention.
And at some point…
you decide.
Sometimes it’s just because
you’re tired of thinking about it.
“Alright-I’m going to do something.”
If you’ve ever made that decision…
You know how it can go.
You start.
You feel good about it.
And then life steps back in.
Schedules shift.
Energy changes.
And it slowly fades.
Not because you didn’t mean it.
But it’s interesting to think about-
What actually made the decision?
Was it the weather?
Seeing others?
Something you kept hearing?
Or was it something else?
Something you’ve been feeling for a while…
that just finally lined up with the moment?
Because while all of that was happening-
There was something else there, too.
How you’ve been feeling.
Your energy.
Your movement.
What’s been consistent.
Easy to miss…
especially when everything around you
is telling you it’s time.
But it’s worth noticing.
What’s influencing you to start…
and what might actually help you continue.
They’re not always the same.
And once you start noticing the difference…
it changes how you look at every decision after that.
To be continued…
