Developed by Joseph Pilates, follow principles, both philosophical and theoretical, that Pilates refined over a period of 60 years. Classes taught in this style include his original exercises and concepts. The many benefits of Classic Pilates include longer, leaner muscles, improved posture & balance, increased core strength & stability, and muscular strength & flexibility. Level II classes use advanced movements and may include additional Pilates apparatus.
LEARN THE BASICS!
This is a FREE one-time 30 minute introductory class for newcomers to Pilates Reformer. Instruction focuses on learning about the reformer machine, machine set up and safety, proper body mechanics, and breathing. Advance registration is required. Sign up on EME or contact Member Services to register. Registration opens 1 week prior to class date.
