Today, Saturday, 5/18/24, marks Moving Day at Bucks County Community College—a day dedicated to raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease and inspiring action. This event, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, aims to enhance the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s and progress towards a cure.
Since 2018, Cornerstone’s Parkinson’s Fit program has been at the forefront of this mission, thanks to the committed leadership of our Directors Bev Reilly and Bart Lorenzo alongside team trainers Ann, Ian, Sabrina, and Taylor. Their dedication has made a profound difference in the lives of people with Parkinson’s and support to their care partners in our Central Bucks community.
Cornerstone has proudly participated in Moving Day since the inception of our Parkinson’s program, raising over $80,000. We have been the top fundraising team in Southeastern PA four out of the last five years. To help us surpass this year’s fundraising goal of $20,000, please consider donating at Moving Day.Â
To learn more about our Parksinson’s Fit program and how it supports those with the disease, please visit our website, or call our Doylestown club at 215.794.3700 to speak with one of our team members.
Moving Day is more than just a walk—it is a celebration of movement, a vital aspect of life that we should all cherish every day.
Keep moving and be well!
